Inharmonic Sludge Wave Freq. Beats in a Sardonic Temperament

The result of having too much fun with an experimental microtonal tuning system consisting of intervals in steps of Equal Hz value. Unlike the logarithmic intervals of equal temperament, Equal Hz tuning has a constant frequency interval.

While similar to a harmonic series segment, Equal Hz tuning can feature a floating fundamental frequency, or starting point, from which to add or subtract the frequency constant.

This video features an Equal Hz step value of 1 Hz centered at 195.997718 Hz (the open G-string on a guitar) on MIDI note 63 of the 128 available MIDI notes (leaving space for an additional 64 Equal Hz steps above, and 63 below).

The range for this 1 Hz Equal Hz tuning:

Note 0 ~132.997718, C3(+29)

Note 63 (Center) ~195.997718, Hz G3

Note 127 ~259.997718, C4(-11)

128 available notes spanning 0.986 Octaves total!

The brain wave frequency of 1 Hz is defined as a Delta Wave, the slowest of waves. There is a rabbit hole of research on the presence and function of Delta waves upon the mind and body. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delta_wave
