This poly-microtonality demo features chords simultaneously routed into four separate microtonal synths. Each synth plays the same patch while scripted to be in a different EDO, or equal division of the octave. The four microtonal temperaments used are 19 EDO, 20 EDO, 21 EDO, and 22 EDO.
Instead of having all the synths layered and audible at the same time, they modulate up and down in volume. Morphing into each other, allowing the chords to fluctuate between EDOs in time with the beat, creating a beautifully slow and chaotic vibrato effect of varying width.
